Pippi is owned by Hundehaven Kennels in Oregon and I am very grateful for the opportunity to lease such an amazing girl for breeding! Pippi has everything I could dream of in terms of a dam—a stable, affectionate, outgoing, happy temperament; plenty of food motivation and willingness to please; fair toy drive (especially for a dog not raised for sports!); no dog or same-sex aggression; minimal sound sensitivity and minimal barkiness! Pippi has never met a stranger she wouldn’t follow home, and extends warm bu-hugs to every person she meets. She loves to snuggle in bed, but finds a place by my feet once we settle in to sleep. She is neutral with most dogs, friendly with friendly dogs, and has good communication skills. Pippi can be slightly overwhelmed in bustling environments (such as large dog shows), but mostly takes things in stride and settles in quickly. Hotel rooms, outdoor show grounds, busy shopping centers and packed trailheads have been no problem for her.
